The 47 Files · Trump’s ventures investigation

The presidency.

Public office. Private business.

The name on the product
is also the name on the presidency.

At one end of the operation, supporters buy an object: a watch, a bottle, a digital picture of the man they admire. At the other, wealthy buyers compete for an invitation, foreign developers pay for the brand, and family businesses operate in industries shaped by Washington.

Follow the connections. Some ventures belong to Trump-linked companies; others are independent businesses paying to use his name. His sons have ventures of their own. What ties the story together is a presidency surrounded by opportunities to turn political attention into private money.

01 · The new invitation

Buy the coin. Enter the room.

The November promotion makes the connection between a private token and a sitting president unusually plain.

Mother Jones reports another invitation to dine with Trump, this time attached to the $TRUMP Coin Club. The promoter’s own page advertises a 22 November 2026 dinner at Trump National near Washington, for the top 185 qualifying holders. The top 29 are offered a VIP reception; the top four, an 18-karat gold Trump watch.

Ranking rewards the amount held and the time it is held during the scoring window. The incentive is to acquire the token, keep it, and climb towards a seat. The president is the advertised featured speaker. The page excludes a private presidential meeting—but the selling point remains an evening in his company.

This is a repeatable business model. In May 2025, Trump spoke to coin holders at the same golf club from a lectern bearing the presidential seal. A private purchase secured entry to an event built around the public office he holds.

02 · $TRUMP and $MELANIA

A token for them. A wager for everyone else.

$TRUMP launched on 17 January 2025, three days before the inauguration. It put Trump’s political image into a tradeable token. Buying it does not buy a share of his businesses. The promoter markets participation, allegiance and experiences; the price is left to the market.

The distinction between the issuer and the buyer matters. Trump-linked entities receive licensing income, while buyers depend on finding someone willing to pay more for the tokens. The publicity can benefit the business even when people who bought into the excitement are left underwater.

$MELANIA is a separate family-branded token. Its promoter and the allegations about its trading belong in their own record, rather than being folded into a single Trump profit figure.

03 · World Liberty Financial

The family business meets the financial system.

World Liberty is more than a souvenir token. Its businesses include the WLFI governance token and USD1, a dollar-linked stablecoin. A governance token and a stablecoin do different jobs; the money they generate reaches the company through different channels.

The geopolitical connection is stark. AP reported a $500 million purchase of nearly half of World Liberty by a UAE-linked investment company, and a separate $2 billion Binance investment settled using USD1. Those are transaction sizes—not a combined payout to Trump.

For a stablecoin issuer, reserves can earn interest while customers hold the tokens. A foreign-backed transaction using the family company’s currency therefore has a commercial significance that goes beyond the photograph of a signing ceremony. Follow the company, the investor and the US policy decisions together.

04 · The NFTs

The image machine had a checkout.

The trading cards turned Trump into a collectible character: heroic poses, invented costumes and an image that could be sold repeatedly. The original collection launched in December 2022. This business began before the second presidency, and helped establish the purchase-and-access formula.

The America First edition advertised cards at $99, with larger purchases tied to dinner and other bonuses. Its current page says that edition has ended. NFT INT LLC operates the offering under a Trump licensing arrangement; owning a card gives the buyer a limited licence to display its artwork.

A digital collectible is not an ownership interest in the Trump Organization. What the product sells is the image—and, in qualifying packages, proximity to the man. The contracts make that commercial structure visible.

05 · Trump Mobile

The presidency in your pocket.

Trump Mobile was announced on 16 June 2025, during his presidency. The launch paired a gold T1 handset, initially advertised at $499, with a monthly service price that turned his two presidential numbers into a bill: $47.45.

The American manufacturing pitch then shifted. AP documented repeated delays and the retreat from the original claim that the phone would be built in the United States. A June 2026 hands-on report from Tom’s Guide subsequently examined an actual device. The story has moved on from the initial launch promise.

The current storefront still advertises the $47.45 monthly plan, while its small print identifies T1 Mobile LLC as the licensee. Another company supplies the service and products; the Trump name supplies the political recognition. Ask what was promised, what arrived, and which company received the money.

06 · Trump Watches

A six-figure tribute you can wear.

The watch collection arrived during the 2024 campaign and remains on sale during the presidency. Its tourbillon collection includes a $100,000 model: political devotion packaged as a luxury collectible.

The retailer identifies TheBestWatchesonEarth LLC as the company licensing Trump’s name, image and likeness. That is the mechanism worth examining. The president does not need to assemble a watch to make his image commercially valuable.

The watches also return in the coin-club promotion: the November dinner advertises gold watches for the top four qualifying holders. One Trump-branded product helps promote another, with access to Trump tying the package together.

07 · The merchandise economy

Sneakers. Scent. Scripture.

The products change. The appeal to loyalty stays remarkably consistent.

The footwear

Wear the brand.

The sneaker range sells the Trump identity across high tops, casual shoes and golf footwear. The current storefront lists Presidential Golf Shoes at $499. The footwear business began before this presidency; the range continues to sell presidential branding while he is in office.

45Footwear LLC is the licensee identified by the retail operation. A purchase of shoes is a commercial sale, rather than a campaign contribution.

The Bible

The store lists the original God Bless the USA Bible at $59.99 and a Presidential Edition at $99.99. The religious object becomes another vehicle for presidential identity. Trump’s disclosure records the associated endorsement income; that payment is separate from the shop’s retail price.

08 · The overseas expansion

The name travels where American power matters.

The old property business has not stood still while crypto attracts the headlines. CREW counted 13 foreign development announcements in nine countries since the 2024 election. That includes two plans subsequently cancelled; it is a count of announcements, not 13 completed hotels.

Many developments sell the Trump name through licensing or management agreements. Projects in countries including Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Vietnam sit beside decisions about trade, technology and US relations. Developers need permits, partners and customers from the very places whose governments negotiate with Washington.

CREW also traces government connections around projects in Oman and Qatar, and public involvement in relocating residents for a Vietnam development. This is where the brand’s growth becomes a foreign-policy story: the president’s private interests have a footprint inside other countries’ decisions.

09 · The family companies

The empire extends beyond the shopfront.

American Bitcoin

The sons enter the mining business.

A March 2025 company disclosure filed with the SEC records the formation of American Bitcoin with Hut 8. Eric Trump is identified as co-founder and chief strategy officer, and Donald Trump Jr. among the participating company’s members.

This is a mining and bitcoin-reserve business associated with the sons, rather than a direct Trump souvenir licence. Keep their roles visible as the administration shapes the industry in which the venture operates.

Trump Media / Truth Social

The president’s words become a product.

Trump Media connects a public company to the president’s favourite publishing platform. The shares and digital-asset strategies create financial interests beyond the social feed. The dated filings matter more than a fleeting share-price headline.

The 2026 Truth API adds another commercial layer: paid access to a fast feed of posts that can move markets. Attention to a president’s decisions becomes something a company can sell. The existing research follows the product, ownership and related litigation.

10 · Read the accounts. Follow the dates.

The small print tells the bigger story.

A branded product can enrich Trump through a licence without being manufactured by his company. A company’s disclosed income is different from his personal cash receipts. A token price, a reserve balance and a royalty payment measure different things.

That is why the records below identify recipients and dates. The $635,068,835 Celebration Coins licence entry belongs to CIC Digital LLC’s 2025 income schedule. The World Liberty subtotal comes from separate DT Marks Defi LLC entries. Neither figure should be mixed with the retail prices on this page.
