What we know. What still needs checking.

An expanding investigation of public power, private benefits and harm. This is a record of work and open questions, not a claim to have found every relevant event.

Review checkpoint: ready to inspect, research still open

The agreed review window has passed. The dashboard is ready for review; the investigation is not exhaustive. A check of the current files confirms that every case has background text and an explicit note of remaining questions. The requirement review below distinguishes built features from unfinished research. 178 source entries have research copies kept outside the site; retention does not mean every page has been examined.

What has been built

A separate historical section, broader subject profiles, income records, source links and case-level gaps are in place. The historical record reaches back to Fred Trump’s 1954 housing-finance inquiry. The main collection remains focused on Trump and his network.

What needs the most work

The largest gaps are systematic family-donor checks across the pardon list; remaining casino licensing exhibits; full income reconciliation; later court outcomes and recoveries; and deeper use of investigators’ archives. No completion percentage is assigned because the research universe has not been fully enumerated.

How the directory has guided research

Examples include ProPublica’s Feinberg trail, Kiel and Buettner’s Chicago investigation and POGO’s Salus reporting. These led into original ethics, tax, procurement and spending records. A directory-level search is a starting point, not a completed investigation of an outlet.

Where to review the results

Open the historical cases, 111 income markers or broader profiles. Use the case search below to inspect unresolved questions and each source’s review scope. Counts describe files and records, not crimes.

Review against the full brief

Reviewed 13 September 2026. These are evidence-based workstream statuses, not a completion percentage. Open requirements remain part of the goal.

Source review wording that needs improvement

These early source entries have generic review notes. They are queued for a specific account of what was actually read; they should not be treated as fully reviewed documents.

Research review · 13 September 2026

The extended investigation has added a separate historical record and expanded profiles of other significant subjects. The totals above describe the current library, not a count of crimes or a claim that research is complete.

Start with the historical evidence

Follow Fred Trump’s casino chip purchases, the 1954 housing-finance inquiry, casino treatment of Robert LiButti, the Weichselbaum relationship and Gary’s casino development commitments. Each file records what the original material supports and which outcomes qualify the allegation.

Public power and private interests

New work follows Axon investment and procurement, Feinberg and contractor interests, Ross’s ethics findings, the census rationale and NOAA political pressure. America First Refining is an open conflict inquiry with no verified federal funding award.

Clemency and other profiles

Expanded files include Milken, Blagojevich and Cunningham, alongside the wider profile collection. Pardon terms, surviving financial obligations, appeals and dismissed counts are recorded separately from the underlying conduct.

What remains unfinished

The pardon list still needs a systematic family-donor match against original campaign-finance records. The directory’s full archives have not been exhausted. Full income reconciliation, original casino licensing exhibits, ballroom donor-to-contract links, later court outcomes and additional defence procurement trails remain open. These are substantive gaps, not routine finishing touches.

Recent evidence checks

These follow-ups deepen existing investigations; they do not complete the open questions below.

Pardons and donations

The Kidan case now includes original FEC and IRS receipts, a corrected recipient committee and a transfer that must not be counted twice. Family ownership, broader giving totals and the reported refund still need reconciliation. The Harshbarger case separates the original conviction and pardon from unproved influence.

Income and paid access

The crypto income reconciliation identifies the selected disclosure lines behind the reported receipts and separates them from asset values and personal net profit. Polymarket and Juul retain unresolved investment terms and causal questions.

Contracts and official acts

The Cobra case adds signed admissions of gratuities and an employment conflict. The Salus review separates contract ceilings, obligations and outlays. The Netanyahu case links to the official transcript of Trump’s pardon appeal.

Historical records and legal outcomes

Underlying casino documents have been located, but some publisher-hosted downloads remain unavailable; they are not marked reviewed. The FirstEnergy case separates corporate enforcement from individual trials, a deadlocked jury and later charges.

Chicago tax follow-up

The Chicago tower case links the original anonymised IRS memorandum to reporting and the congressional audit review. The 2026 tax agreement is cross-linked. The final assessment, any payment and the case-specific effect of the release remain unverified.

Property-tax bribery trail

The New York assessor case adds original city records and the WNYC interview trail. Proven municipal corruption, disputed owner involvement and city-wide recovery figures are shown separately. The underlying owner-payment records remain a priority.

Emergency meals contracting

The Tribute case adds a contractor conviction, earlier performance ruling and reconciled federal award history. The record reports seven offers. Missing due-diligence records and the latest criminal appeal remain open.

Trump companies’ tax-fraud case now explains the compensation mechanism, separate sentences and the criminal appeal reference. The later appeal outcome remains an explicit gap. The retained criminal-contempt order and separate personal civil-contempt appeal now clarify the record-production disputes.

Base Group’s development fee and trade dispute: the disclosed payment, family business meetings and announced Hanam golf project now connect to the original Commerce record and congressional questions. The income marker is annotated without double-counting.

Detroit contracting, clemency and restitution: Kilpatrick and Ferguson now have a substantive profile, including the effect of one release on the other, final debarment and later financial enforcement. Family/intermediary donation checks and the latest payment records remain open.

Kilpatrick’s reported further-pardon promise: Bridge’s voicemail investigation now strengthens the political-exchange lead. His denial, the original listening link and Karmanos’s intermediary account are included; independent audio review and original donation verification remain open.

Billy Walters: paid advocacy and clemency now includes the signed warrant, criminal appeal, civil judgment, supporter account and petition FOIA entry. Retainer and donation records, the amended restitution order, payment ledger and the disputed Wynn influence account remain open.

Bali Hai public-land settlement: followed the Walters lead into county and court records. The county’s settlement share, denied liability, continuing lease and later auction-process decision are documented. Contributions, original valuation records, payment receipts and completed sale remain to be verified.

Taj Mahal original-record follow-up: the signed 1998 settlement now verifies 106 late reports, $477,000 and the denial of liability. Board departures and later compliance periods are distinguished. Read the two-page original agreement. Historical family compensation has also been added to the income register; bankruptcy recovery and individual knowledge remain unresolved.

Cantor Gaming and Lutnick: corporate admissions, original ownership records and overlapping penalties checked. Personal responsibility remains disputed; later compliance and the full scanned agreement require further review.

1988 notification settlement: original complaint and judgment retained, allegations and outcome checked. Casino-era income context now includes a court-described contract-release payment term, with the favourable settlement outcome and unverified receipt clearly stated.

Boeing / Druyun procurement profile: family employment, admitted conflicts, GAO findings and the company’s reported settlement payment reviewed. Missing plea records, agreement appendices and later compliance outcomes are recorded. Later Boeing matters remain separate research tasks.

JLL military-housing oversight: original award and company records now reviewed. Independence safeguards, current ownership and inspection outcomes remain open.

Pogue family donation reconciliation: nine Trump Victory receipts and thirteen downstream records reviewed. Pre-pardon receipts, later receipts and transfers are separated. Original images and other-cycle coverage remain open.

Herrera donation and clemency follow-up: both receipts verified in FEC tables; co-defendant’s separate disciplinary judgment added. Funding source and clemency communications remain unresolved.

Esformes clemency follow-up: signed warrant and appellate records checked; financial obligations preserved, with later payment reporting distinguished from an audited recovery balance. Original plea and collection records remain open.

Judicial-gifts trail: Clarence Thomas: disclosure amendments, Senate investigations, counsel responses and the later referral decision reviewed. Full appendices, payment records and subsequent disclosures remain open.

January 6 scope follow-up: Wilson’s interim appeal order and later separate pardon added, with both original records retained. Four early source entries now have precise review notes. Other scope and refund rulings remain open.

Where the research is going next

Earlier Trump businesses and family financing

The historical section now includes housing, casino licensing, family financing, tax, securities and labour records. Recent additions examine Fred Trump’s housing finance, casino supplier relationships and Gary’s development commitments. Broader family transfers, original licensing exhibits and later All County rent-litigation outcomes still require work. Original audit exhibits, complete tax rulings and later court records remain priorities.

Current wealth, access and public decisions

Continue connecting family businesses, token fees, paid events, donors, clemency and public contracts. Check the timing, recipient of each payment, official decisions and competing explanations. Revenue, personal income, asset valuation and taxpayer loss require separate measures.

Other major corruption networks

Profiles include Householder, Menendez, Madigan, Raytheon, Leonard Francis, the Hevesi–Markstone pension case, Goldman Sachs/1MDB, Abramoff, Milken, Sands, Blagojevich, Cunningham and Ross. Further defence contracting, major financial fraud and healthcare schemes are next candidates for deeper profiles. Priority depends on documented harm, abuse of authority, scale and evidence quality; the order is not a numerical ranking of guilt.

Investigator directory and discovery trails

The supplied directory guides discovery. A first pass checked 99 main rows and searched 37 regional outlets. That does not mean every named investigator, archive, article or video has been reviewed; deeper work remains. Reporting, commentary and advocacy can identify leads; the resulting case files should trace material claims to original records and distinguish disputed interpretations from findings.

Inspect the coverage of each case

These entries show the limits recorded by the researcher, not an automatic certification that every source is current. A saved document may have been reviewed only in the portions identified in its source record.

Corrections and counting

The overlapping IRS agreement file T92 has been consolidated into T19. Older links still open the combined case. Source records are preserved. Case and finding totals count files, not crimes or independent legal proceedings; several files may concern different aspects of one broader matter.
